Anthemis invests along the curve of growth in companies with innovative products, services and business models at the the intersection of financial services, markets and technology. We are not limited to investing at any one particular growth stage and will seek out investments from across the growth curve from very early stage through to late stage (or even public) companies.
Our clear focus is on finding and developing winning companies and entrepreneurs within our sectoral and thematic universe, for whom our deep domain expertise and broad networks can help reduce risk and accelerate success. We invest in companies where we understand the opportunities and the risks, and in people when we believe in their ability to execute and adapt.
We focus on financial products, services and markets from design through distribution. We also go a step further and apply financial market workflows to other sectors and products. In most cases, this has not previously been either possible or practical due to high transaction, information or communication costs.
