Launched in January 2011, anthemis | edge offers a new and powerful approach to providing expert operational and management advice by leveraging a network of experienced and talented professionals. Combining elements of a high-level strategic consultancy, expert network, design firm and talent agency, the anthemis | edge business model is structurally aligned with the expectations and aspirations of experienced operating executives in the 21st century.
We are creating an operating platform and framework enabling Anthemis to build and engage tight networks of specialist operating professionals across a number of financial services verticals. Led by Nadeem Shaikh, we have focused initially on building out a payments vertical and have grown the team quickly to more than 15 professionals who are already working on a number of interesting assignments. Our plan is to refine the business model and value proposition with our payments practice before rolling out further industry-specific practice verticals over the next two to three years.
The ability to access and deploy these experts and knowledge assets will provide our group portfolio companies with a highly valuable and differentiated source of talent and competitive advantage and will materially strengthen the overall Anthemis ecosystem.
